1. How to contact us

Email support@bournemouthfilmfest.co.uk with your account email address and, where relevant, project ID or payment reference. Do not email your password or API credentials.

2. What we will do

We aim to acknowledge substantive complaints within two working days and to provide a resolution or meaningful progress update within 14 days. Complex payment, security or data-protection matters may take longer, but we will keep you informed.

3. Urgent issues

For a statutory cancellation request, use the dedicated account route if available or clearly state that you are exercising a cooling-off cancellation right. For suspected account compromise, state that the request is security-related.

4. What to include

Explain what happened, what outcome you are seeking and any dates or references that will help us investigate. Please do not send unnecessary copies of confidential screenplay material if the project can be identified by project ID.

5. Data-protection complaints

Privacy concerns can be sent to privacy@bournemouthfilmfest.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office where applicable.
